A striking deciduous tree or small bush with attractive striped bark. The young, variegated leaves are attractive pink, white and green in colour. The mature leaves are green or green and white. The bark on the young branches is a distinctive vivid red, while the bark on mature branches and trunk takes on a 'snakeskin' colour and texture. This combination of attractive foliage and distinctive coloured and textured bark makes Acer conspicuum 'Red Flamingo' extremely popular and ideal for winter colour.
